دور الأكسيناتيد-ناهض مستقبل الببتيد الشبيه بالغلوكاغون1- في العلاج والوقاية من هشاشة العظام المستحدثة باستئصال المبايض عند إناث جرذان ويستر

The present study aimed to investigate the protective and therapeutic effect of Exenatide on osteoporosis induced by ovariectomy in female Wister rats. The results of this study showed that administration of Exenatide at a dose of 10 mg/kg daily for 4 months led to a reduction in osteoporosis symptoms in ovariectomized rats, which was manifested by changes in serum levels of bone metabolism markers (a significant increase in the serum concentration of calcium, phosphorous, accompanied by a significant decrease in the potency of alkaline phosphatase), and a significant improvement in the tissue structure of the femur, in comparison with the members of the ovariectomized group..  We conclude from this study the effectiveness of Exenatide in reducing the adverse effects of ovarian hormone deficiency on both bone structure and function in female Wister rats.  Keywords: Exenatide, osteoporosis, female wistar rats.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم التأثير الوقائي والعلاجي للأكسيناتيد على هشاشة العظام المستحدثة باستئصال المبايض عند إناث جرذان ويستر. بينت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن إعطاء الأكسيناتيد بجرعة 10 ميكروغرام/كغ يومياً لمدة 4 أشهر أدت إلى الحد من أعراض هشاشة العظام عند الجرذان مستأصلة المبايض وتجلى ذلك من خلال التغيرات في المستويات المصلية لواسمات الاستقلاب العظمي (زيادة معنوية في التركيز المصلي لكل من الكالسيوم والفوسفور، مصحوباً بانخفاض معنوي في فعالية إنزيم الفوسفاتاز القاعدي)، وتحسن ملحوظ في البنية النسيجية لعظم الفخذ، بالمقارنة مع أفراد المجموعة مستأصلة المبايض. نستخلص من هذه الدراسة فعالية الأكسيناتيد في الحد من التأثيرات الضارة لنقص هرمون المبيض على كل من بنية ووظيفة العظم عند إناث جرذان ويستر. الكلمات المفتاحية: الأكسيناتيد، هشاشة العظام، إناث جرذان ويستر.
